HP looks for European graduates in Computer, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering for ‘R&D Academy’

HP and Fundación Universidad-Empresa (FUE) have joined efforts to find the best talent in Europe. The company will offer two-year contracts in the area of Research & Development to fresh European graduates selected through the HP R&D Academy.

The main objective of this initiative is to recruit and train recent graduates in Computer, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, with excellent academic records and no previous professional experience, and to offer the most outstanding candidates the opportunity to develop their professional career within the company.

Interested candidates must apply online at until June 20th 2016. A series of online tests will be used to evaluate applicants’ potential, including competences such as proactivity, responsibility, advanced communication in English, organisation, interpersonal skills and a passion for technology. Those who pass this first stage will later participate in the final selection process at HP offices in Barcelona, where they will also receive company training from July 11th to 15th 2016. All of the activities carried out during this week will be conducted in English by frontline experts.

Candidates participating in the final selection process will receive up to €500 (depending on their place of residence) to help cover living costs during the week, as well as a certificate of attendance and completion issues by HP and FUE.

The most outstanding candidates will be offered the opportunity to join HP with a two-year contract, a fully funded Masters programme, and a unique international experience.

The call may be followed on FUE’s Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts (hashtag #HPAcademy), where interested applicants and candidates are welcome to comment and/or clarify any doubts or questions.
