Patent Box workshop

18th March 2013, London, UK

This workshop, held by patent and trade mark experts A.A. Thornton & Co, will explore how patenting can significantly reduce the tax burden for UK companies. The company is preparing UK businesses for the introduction of the Patent Box regime, which will come into play on 1 April 2013. The regime will see the cost of patenting being outweighed by patent-related tax savings for many UK companies. By electing into the regime, UK firms will be able to apply a lower rate of UK corporation tax to profits earned from patents and patented products. The seminar will take place at a central London location on Monday 18th March 2013, and will be hosted by Mike Jennings and Adrian Bennett (both experienced patent attorneys and partners of A.A. Thornton & Co), with expert answers to your tax questions by Andrew Canton from HM Revenue & Customs. For more information or to register for the seminar, please contact Hayley Josephs at hpj@aathornton.com, or on direct dial 0207 440 6822.
