TRIZ offers the best of all worlds, the individual tools are straightforward, the problem-solving process is systematic and repeatable, and when we move fast with TRIZ we can uncover all the possible solutions and keep our brains at their most creative. Oxford Creativity have developed a programme of 4 intense days which are split into two workshops - Basic TRIZ and Advanced TRIZ. We also offer one day Introduction to TRIZ courses with the IMechE and the IET.

Basic TRIZ provides an introduction to, and an overview of, the TRIZ tools, the TRIZ problem solving process and the fundamentals of creative problem solving and innovative thinking. You learn and use the TRIZ tools for developing systems and intellectual property protection (the TRIZ Trends of Technical Evolution) and for understanding and mapping problems and solutions (9 boxes). This workshop also introduces you to the fundamental TRIZ tools for solving technical and physical contradictions (40 Inventive Principles, Separation Principles, 39 Parameters and the TRIZ matrix), and shows you how to solve problems cleverly by using what we have: our Resources

In the Advanced TRIZ workshop, you will learn the TRIZ creativity triggers and the powerful tool for mapping engineering systems, understanding systems and solving problems: TRIZ Function Analysis. Learn how to use the 9 Boxes in more advanced ways for understanding and predicting hazards and root cause problems. Complete your TRIZ toolkit by learning the TRIZ Standard Solutions, simple lists that will enable you to reduce costs, get rid of harms and improve benefits in any system. Learn how to use all the TRIZ tools together in the systematic TRIZ problem solving process.

We also offer in-house problem solving workshops. These give you the opportunity to make a real difference to the success of your business by helping you map out a strategic vision for your organisation or tackle a specific problem that you may be facing. They are fast, efficient and above all, effective.

We take a small group of people from your organisation and bring them together for a single intensive day of facilitated creative thinking - using systematic innovation tools and techniques based on the TRIZ methodology. This day is tailored to meet your needs, and all problem solving sessions are facilitated by two Oxford Creativity TRIZ trainers. If you feel that we have failed to make satisfactory progress on your problem or that the TRIZ Problem Solving has not helped, you don't pay our fee.

These sessions can be used to map the future of your industry and identify directions for your company and products, can tackle difficult design, manufacture and in use engineering problems, or to generate innovative concepts. We ask our clients to bring along their most difficult problems: put us to the test!
