Thermoplastic pumps resist aggressive chemicals
The ARBO range of thermoplastic, mechanically sealed centrifugal pumps is available in a choice of polypropylene, polyethylene, PVDF and PTFE.
The pumps are designed resist the effects of aggressive chemicals that can cause corrosion problems.
By manufacturing all wetted parts out of solid block, thus avoiding the need for injection moulding, the potential for stress-cracking is eliminated.
Furthermore, the combination of tough, non-metallic materials and stress relieving production methods provides chemical and temperature resistance to ensure safe and reliable pumping, even in challenging applications.
As well as offering excellent chemical and corrosion resistance, the ARBO pumps can handle solid particles up to 3mm, ensuring extended pump operation in the event of process upset.
They are designed to handle flows up to 500m/hr, heads to 90metres and are available in close, or long coupled designs.
