Advanced Surge Protection with SineTamer’s Unique Technology
Eluminate now provides SineTamer’s full range of transient frequency attenuation devices (TFAD), which can protect variable frequency AC/DC drives and other electronic equipment. Unlike traditional surge protection devices, SineTamer uses special frequency attenuation circuitry rather than voltage actuation. Therefore, the device can actively track and follow the sinewave form —protecting all 360 degrees, not just the extremes.
Solving High-Frequency Power Distortions
SineTamer can also help address issues high up on the frequency spectrum, including supra-harmonics. These are voltage and current waveform distortions in the frequency range of 2–150 kHZ, which can cause a range of issues, including equipment overheating and early component aging.
