Hear from additive manufacturing’s visionaries and innovators at July’s Additive International Summit

Running from 12 - 13th July in Nottingham, the 2023 Additive International Summit will showcase the trends, technologies and applications that are shaping the future of additive manufacturing.

This summer, leading researchers and industrialists from the world of additive manufacturing will gather at Nottingham's Additive International Summit to share insights into the technologies that are shaping the future of the sector.

Running from 12 – 13th July at Nottingham’s stunning Albert Hall Conference Centre, and curated by experts from the University of Nottingham’s world-leading Centre for Additive Manufacturing (CfAM), the event will showcase the very latest in AM research and industrial implementation activity from across the globe.

Whilst AM technology is now widely deployed across industry - largely in the form of single material systems - it remains a rapidly evolving sector and the conference (which was founded in 2006) will explore some of the challenges and research breakthroughs that are on the fringes of commercial application: from multi-material, multifunctional device manufacture to 3D printed electronics and even pharmaceutical and regenerative medicine breakthroughs.

As in previous years, the summit boasts a truly world-leading and international group of invited industry experts from organisations including Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, GKN Aerospace, Rochester Institute of Technology, Boston Consulting Group, Rolls-Royce Plc, The University of Nottingham and many others.

Commenting on this year’s line-up, summit co-chair and Director of CfAM Professor Richard Hague said: “The aim of the Additive International Summit has always been to bring to the audience the very latest in AM research and industrial implementation activity from across the globe. This ethos will continue again this year, where we are again curating a fantastic set of leading expert speakers to talk about their cutting-edge AM activity.”

As always, the event will also provide a series of unique networking opportunities over the course of the two days including a conference drinks reception and industry dinner.
