Renishaw to showcase additive manufacturing systems at Engineering Design Show

Renishaw is to exhibit its advanced engineering products at the Engineering Design Show, which takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry between 10th and 11th October.

Innovations on show will include additive manufacturing systems for creating fully dense metal parts direct from 3D CAD, as well as position encoders for a range of linear and rotary motion applications. Renishaw will also highlight new variants of RESOLUTE, the world's first true absolute encoder capable of 27bit resolution at 36,000rpm. In addition, the company will be exhibiting its AM250 laser melting system, which utilises a pioneering additive manufacturing process capable of producing complex metal parts direct from 3D CAD using a high-powered fibre laser. Registration for the Engineering Design Show has now opened and details of its high level engineering conference and workshop sessions will be revealed voer the coming weeks.
