Roller bearings offer lubrication-free belt deflection
igus UK has introduced a new series of knife edge roller bearings.
The iglidur tribo plastic bearings are lubrication-free and are said to enable manufacturers in the food and beverage industry to increase process efficiencies.
Made from the company's iglidur P210 bearing material , they are targeted at applications such as conveyor belts.
igus says the device allow narrow deflection radii for optimal use of available space and a smooth delivery of goods that are difficult to handle.
