Could your big idea win you £5,000 design time?

Put it to the test! The ERIKS Automation UK Engineering Challenge 2013 is a new competition offering £5,000 worth of design time (and more) to the best automation project that is currently at the concept stage.

The rules are simple: the project must relate to motion control (linear and/or rotary) including any associated control and the basic principle should incorporate a product or system that will then be created for volume production. Submissions will be judged by an expert panel including ERIKS Automation specialists. The winner will receive up to £5,000 of design and development work (equivalent to 40 engineering hours). Along with two runners-up our lucky winner will also gain a great Land Rover Driving Experience. Go to www.eriks.co.uk/Automation for more info on rules, terms and conditions and how to enter. The downloadable registration form should be emailed to sarah.evans@eriks.co.uk by the end of January. For full details on the competition, please click here
